Bum of the Day

6'0", 240 pound Randall Simon played for the Pirates from 2003-2004. With a .234 career average, 118 hits, 13 home runs, and 65 RBIs, he definitely deserves to be named bum of the day.

He is most known for smacking a female Italian Sausage mascot with a bat in the back of the head. Also, Simon is known for attempting to run from first to home with his immense speed. While attempting to score he would run so fast that his large bling chain would fly out of his jersey revealing a possible gang sign.. But this caused some controversy because mothers in the stands didn't want their children to follow this great influence. Simon was last seen as captain of Team Netherlands in the 2009 World Baseball Classic.

FACT: Simon made $2,275,000 with the Pirates in a 2-year span. This means for every home run that Simon hit he made $175,000. What a Bum.
